Join acclaimed photographer and instructor David Julian to creatively capture the beautiful lanscapes, colorful historic features and unique personalities of Whidbey Island.  This workshop expands each student's innate creativity while building photographic skills and guiding artful vision.  As we shoot at locations and process in our lab, students receive individual coaching and benefit from Dave's vast photographic and digital expertise.  Composition, light, and intuitive seeing are covered through group discussions and daily supportive critiques.  At our base near Camp Casey, we'll have presentations on creative and travel photography, as well as demonstrations of RAW processing and Dave's inventive fine art techniques.  Students should bring a laptop with software for processing their digital camera images.  Adobe Lightroom is a highly recommended option.  We will also have support from Canon and Lensbaby for this unique workshop!
