Advanced Beginner to Advanced Students

This workshop is a great opportunity to learn the fundamentals of impressionistic painting from a highly respected artist and instructor. Henry will help you gain a maximum understanding of color and relationships as well as develop a solid foundation for future paintings. Students will be given individual instruction and work directly from life. This workshop is a must for all artists interested in improving their portrait painting abilities. There will be demonstrations with an approach to color relationships and characterization of the model. Areas covered are light source and colors, hue or local color, value relationships, highlights and accents, drawing with the paint, hard vs. soft edges, and finishing techniques.
