Join us in exploring and photographing the newest addition to the Whidbey Island landscape - vineyards! We will “paint” with light as we photograph the vineyards and wineries, with special access to the places where wine is made and bottled. In addition to the wineries, we will be photographing some of the locally grown food, from field, farm, or orchard to finished product. This is a great opportunity to explore individual style, and experiment with creating something extraordinary from the ordinary products we see on our table and in the market. We’ll have the chance to makes images that could evolve into a documentary photo essay or fine art photographs. We will also make time to sample many of the wine and food products we photograph.
