September 10 at the Coquitlam Library, 575 Poirier Street, Coquitlam
British photojournalist and humanitarian Lee Karen Stow will offer a one-day workshop. This inspiring workshop will explore the long-term documentary pohotography project with all its emotional highs and lows, building up trust with one's subject, and the relentless search for funding and ways to exhibit work. Lee will demonstrate her techniques for taking better images, from the heart.
Lee Karen Stow is a one-woman phenomenon who has devoted the past four years to bringing to the worlds' attention the plight of women and children in Sierra Leone. Proceeds from this workshop will directly benefit the women of Sierra Leone. Take Lee's workshop and change a life! Tuition is $75 US funds for non-members and $65 for Soroptimist of the Tri-City members.
