Whidbey Island is the setting of the Fifth Annual Plein Air Painters' U.S. Open.  This unique event is the largest of its kind in the nation, annually attracting artists from throughout the US and Canada.  Experience the drama as painters compete in a race against time and nature, while capturing the magic of Whidbey Island on canvas.

All Plein Air Painters, from beginners to top-ranked artists, are invited to join in this open competition (no jury to enter).  Saturday auction is juried.
