October 31, November 7, November 14 (Sundays) 1-4pm
Ever look at a painting or sculpture and ask “what is that”? If you are curious about “art” and want to learn more about art in culture and society, consider this three day (spread over three Sunday afternoons) that will explore ideas about visual art and it’s influence on our lives. Explore early endeavors at expression; take an excursion through the ages to learn how painting, sculpture, and architecture have evolved. Using an historical overview explore ways in which art is created.
What is paint? What is a print? How was that etching made? Demonstrations of materials, techniques, combined with media presentations will be part of each three hour session.
There is a $10 discount for members of the Pacific NorthWest Art School.
